Aston Martin has once again brought back life to their Iconic DB5 cars. After almost 50 years, the DB5 Continuations are rolling out of Aston Martin’s factory. James Bond movie Goldfinger inspires this car. What’s more interesting with this car is that it will contain all the James Bond Gadgets. Please don’t ask for real guns and weapons. They are not included.
The Aston Martin DB5 is dubbed “The most famous car in the world”. Also, it is the most desirable and sought-after classic Aston Martin cars. Only 900 examples of the original DB5 were built between 1963 and 1965. James Bond first drove the car that is today inextricably linked with him in the 1964 film, Goldfinger. Hence these new cars are called “Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation”.

After almost 55 years, Aston Martin has decided to bring back this car into production. Aston Martin’s then global manufacturing base in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire is building this extremely limited edition cars. These cars are created in association with Bond filmmaker EON Productions. These cars also features a broad suite of working gadgets first seen in the film Goldfinger. Each of the 25 new cars are meticulously detailed with authentic reproductions of the DB5 seen on screen. Furthermore, the cars also comes with an array of functioning devices. These were originally created by Bond Film Special Effects Supervisor Chris Corbould. On the whole, sympathetic modifications and enhancements guarantees highest levels of build quality and reliability.
Working Gadgets from Goldfinger
Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger has all the working gadgets first seen in the film. For legal reasons, simulated lights replaces real guns. All other features like phone, alarms, rams, etc. are available in the car. On the whole, the car is released in only one color and it is exactly the same color as what was debuted in the movie.
Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger continuation engines
A 4.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine powers this car. It produces 290 horsepower. Also, it’s paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. These Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger continuation cars are equipped with coil over springs for smooth handling while escaping from Villains. Furthermore, a limited slip differential with manual rack and pinion steering are options.
