This 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is finished in Le Mans Red over beige leather and powered by a 6.2-liter V8 linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Optional equipment includes carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber accents, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, Alcantara steering wheel trim, and AMG performance suspension. The car was sold new at Mercedez-Benz of Beverly Hills, California, and was acquired by the seller in August 2016. An oil change was performed and the hood refinished in July 2020. This SLS AMG has 16k miles and is offered with a car cover, a battery tender, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.

The SLS AMG was constructed using an aluminum spaceframe and bodyshell, and this example is finished in AMG Le Mans Red. Equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, gullwing doors, and bi-xenon headlights in addition to front and rear parking sensors. Clear protective film has been applied to the front bumper, headlights, rocker panels, side mirrors, and lower doors according to the seller. The hood is said to have been repainted in 2020 due to a scratch, which is pictured prior to repair in the gallery below.

An airbag recall was performed in June 2019.

The aluminum 6.2-liter M159 V8 features dry-sump lubrication and was factory-rated at 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque when new. Optional $5400 carbon fiber trim pieces line the engine compartment, and an AMG-branded plaque located atop the intake manifold identifies the individual engine builder. An oil change was performed by Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates, Illinois in July 2020, and the same dealership replaced the battery and completed an inspection the following September.
