Porsche 911 Turbo S2 for sale. This 1992 Porsche 911 Turbo S2 is one of 20 homologation specials produced in conjunction with Andial of Santa Ana, California for participation in the IMSA Bridgestone Supercar Championship Series. This example was sold new by Janaco Porsche of Norwalk, California, exported to Germany in 2008 by the second owner, and brought back to the US in 2015 before being acquired by the current owner in 2018. Power comes from a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential, and the car is finished in Guards Red over Cashmere leather. Additional features include heated and power adjustable sport seats, an electric sunroof, a Porsche CDR-210 stereo, automatic climate control, and a rear window washer. Service performed in 2021 consisted of the installation of a replacement blower motor, cooling fan drive belt tension sensor, and cooling fan. This 964 S2 shows 51k miles and is being offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner in California with service records, a window sticker, clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the owner’s LLC.
The car is finished in Guards Red (G1) and features a “tea tray” rear spoiler, a rear wiper with a washing system, an electric sunroof, and front fog lamps. Paint correction was performed and ceramic coating was added to the body in May 2021. XPEL clear paint protection film was also applied to the front of the body and rocker guards at that time, and a replacement windshield was installed in around a year ago. Factory 17″ Cup 1 alloy wheels were recently refinished and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires that show 2018 date codes and are sized 205/50 up front and 255/40 out back. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted ventilated discs paired with black calipers with white Porsche scripts at each corner. An alignment was performed in February 2020 and the rear control arm bushings were replaced in May 2020.
The 2+2 cabin features power-adjustable heated front seats trimmed in Cashmere leather with matching carpets, two-tone door panels, and a black upper dashboard. Amenities include automatic climate control, power windows, and a Porsche CDR-210 stereo fitted with an auxiliary input. The blower motor was replaced in January 2021.
A leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and combination gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows approximately 51k miles, around 10k of which have been added during current ownership.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter M30/69 flat-six was fitted with a K27 turbocharger, a larger intercooler, and upgraded camshafts by Andial. A replacement engine mount and alternator were installed in 2017, while the shifter bushings and oil lines were replaced in June 2020. The rear harness was rewired, a cooling fan was replaced, and the oil was changed in January 2021, and a new cooling fan drive belt tensioner warning sensor was installed in April 2021.
